Refund Policy

At Akim Travel Luxury Car Rental (operated by Akim Travel & Tours Sdn Bhd), we strive to ensure complete customer satisfaction. This policy outlines our refund terms and conditions.

1. Cancellation & Refunds

  • Full Refund (100%): Cancellations made 72 hours or more before the rental start date
  • Partial Refund (50%): Cancellations made between 24-72 hours before the rental start date
  • No Refund: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the rental start date

2. Early Returns

If you return the vehicle earlier than the agreed rental period:

  • No refund will be provided for unused rental days
  • The original rental rate will apply as booked

3. Security Deposit

The security deposit will be refunded within 7-14 business days after the vehicle inspection, provided:

  • No damage to the vehicle is found
  • No traffic violations or fines are outstanding
  • The fuel tank is returned at the same level as when collected

4. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed within 7-14 business days via the original payment method.

5. Non-Refundable Items

  • Insurance fees
  • Additional driver fees
  • GPS rental charges
  • Child seat rental charges
