Vehicle Return Policy

At Akim Travel Luxury Car Rental (operated by Akim Travel & Tours Sdn Bhd), we want to ensure a smooth vehicle return process. Please review our return policy below.

1. Return Location & Time

Vehicles must be returned to the agreed location as specified in your booking
Please return the vehicle at the agreed time
Late returns will incur additional charges
Alternative return locations may be arranged with prior approval (additional fees may apply)

2. Vehicle Condition

Upon return, the vehicle should be:

In the same condition as when collected (normal wear excluded)
Clean inside and out (exterior cleaning is acceptable)
Free from any personal belongings
With all original equipment, keys, and documents

3. Fuel Policy

Full-to-Full: Return the vehicle with the same fuel level as collection
If returned with less fuel, you will be charged for refueling plus a service fee

4. Vehicle Inspection

Upon return, our staff will conduct an inspection to check:

Exterior condition for any new damage
Interior cleanliness and condition
Fuel level
Mileage (if applicable)

5. Late Return Charges

Grace Period: 30 minutes
1-3 hours late: 50% of daily rate
More than 3 hours late: Full daily rate

6. Damage Assessment

If damage is found:

Minor scratches/dents: Deduction from security deposit based on repair costs
Major damage: Full repair costs plus loss of use compensation
A damage report will be provided for your records

7. After-Hours Return

If arranged in advance:

Park in the designated area
Lock the vehicle securely
Drop keys in the secure key box
Take photos of the vehicle condition
